With our in-house carpentry team, we uphold the highest standards throughout your build. Each project is assigned a dedicated Site Supervisor, supported by our experienced administration team who are always ready to assist with any questions or enquiries.
Ken – Director – Founder – TKOld Homes
Ken launched his Construction career in Melbourne’s outer east over 53 years ago, creating a family business grounded in quality, trust and personalised service. Over this time, Ken built a strong reputation for delivering homes, townhouses and subdivisions across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. His hands‑on approach and deep industry knowledge shaped the company’s long‑standing success and strong relationships with clients, suppliers and trades. Today, his son Andy carries that legacy forward as the General Manager, guiding the business into its next chapter. Together, The Old family continue the tradition of building quality homes with the same values Ken established decades ago.

Andy – General Manager
Andy has progressed through every level of the family business since 2003. Starting as a qualified carpenter and learning the trade from the ground up. His strong construction knowledge and hands‑on approach led him into the role of Site Supervisor, where he oversaw projects and upheld the company’s high standards. This experience across the entire building process gave him a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver quality homes. Over time, he expanded his leadership and management skills, taking on greater responsibility within the business. Now, as General Manager, Andy helps guide the company forward while continuing the reputation and values that T.K. Old Homes has established.

Matt -Construction Manager
Matt began his building career in 2004, gaining extensive experience across all areas of residential construction. As Construction Manager, he now oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the company’s projects. Known for his positive, go‑getting attitude, he works closely with clients through selections and meetings, as well as with trades and the wider team, to keep jobs running smoothly and on schedule. His coordination with suppliers, engineers and draftsmen ensures materials, plans and technical details are properly managed. Matt’s practical knowledge and ability to bring all parties together make him an essential part of delivering successful projects.
Daniel – Site Supervisor
Daniel is a registered builder who brings his hands‑on industry expertise into his role as Site Supervisor. His background gives him a deep understanding of construction processes, allowing him to make confident, informed decisions on site. He applies a builder’s mindset to every project, ensuring quality workmanship, practical solutions and exceptional attention to detail. Daniel consistently identifies opportunities to improve outcomes before issues arise, strengthening the team and supporting smoother project delivery. With Daniel overseeing site operations, clients can trust that every stage of construction is managed with skill, care and professionalism.
Elliott – Site Supervisor
Elliott is a highly valued member of the team, bringing strong knowledge, dedication and a consistently positive attitude to every project he oversees. As Site Supervisor, he coordinates trades and ensures each stage of construction runs efficiently and to the company’s standards. Known for his excellent problem‑solving skills, he quickly finds practical solutions to challenges that arise on site. He keeps communication clear with clients and trades, always remaining approachable and professional no matter how busy the day becomes. Elliott’s positivity, attention to detail and ability to keep projects moving make him an integral part of the team and a major asset to the company.
